It takes 9 years for the country to get to know that an innocent 19 year old girl was not a terrorist and did not intend to kill Narender Modi...
She was killed and accused of being a terrorist because her name was 'Ishrat Jahan Raza'; because she called the Almighty 'Allah' and because she was in Gujrat with other 'suspected' terrorist...
Proven repeatedly that the encounter was fake and also the plot to kill the king was made up by the IB head already accused for another fake encounter...
Do we the 'Sovereign, Democratic, Republic' of India have an answer to give to this little girl's family as to why we chose to take away a bread earner and young life without any proof! Can we look into their eyes and apologies for putting them through the trauma they have lived with for the last 9 years...
Is there a medicine that the great Mr. Modi and the wonderful BJP have to heal the wounds of this poor family???
Did anyone take out a minute without the intention of sensationalism to try and get to know what the aspirations of this 19 years old girl were... what her fears were and what her hope were.
We all sat as mute spectators as the police and politicians jumped up and down to claim victory of ridding the country of another Islamic Militant... when all it was, was a girl not even out of her teens...
Does our collective consciousness allow us to sit and watch many more such encounters or is it time we take a stand!!!
